About Etterick Smiddy
Etterick Smiddy is a recently restored , 2 bedroom cottage on the west coast of the Isle of Bute which sleeps 4 , with stunning views over Etterick bay to Inchmarnock island , Arran and the Kintyre peninsula. Originally a school , the building has for the last 200 years been a blacksmiths house with unrestored smiddy still attached. If you are interested , you can see the restoration here http://www.etterick-smiddy.info but please remember to come back to book your stay.
It was restored as a retirement home for us but in the meantime you have the chance to stay in this fantastic historic cottage and enjoy the scenery.
Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome at Etterick Smiddy but only in the downstairs areas of the cottage and not upstairs in bedrooms.
